Vancouver alternative health practitioner charged with sex assault

A Vancouver practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine has been charged with sexually assaulting one of his adult female clients.
Mandeep Singh, 42, turned himself into police this week, Vancouver police said in a written release. Singh worked at the Ayurvedic Centre at 5182 Victoria Drive. He was released under the condition that he not treat any woman without a second woman present, that he not leave B.C. and that he not represent himself as a medical doctor.
Police are asking the public to call if they can offer any additional assistance with the investigation.
